The complete LB Documentation (covering all versions of LB from 1.x to 3.x) consists of the following parts:

LB Users's guide: This user's guide explains how to use the LB service from the user's point of view. The service architecture is described thoroughly. Examples on using LB event logging command to log a user tag and change job ACL are given, as well as LB query and notification use cases.
LB Administrator's guide: This administrator's guide explains how to administer the LB service. Several deployment scenarios are described together with the installation, configuration, running and troubleshooting steps.
LB Developer's guide: This developer's guide explains how to use the LB service API. Logging (producer), querying (consumer) and notification API as well as the Web Services Interface is described in details together with programing examples.
LB Test Plan: This test plan document explains how to test the LB service. Two major categories of tests are described: integration tests (include installation, configuration and basic service ping tests) and system tests (basic functionality tests, performance and stress tests, interoperability tests and security tests).
LB Troubleshooting Guide: This guide gives a brief explanation of common or recommended procedures in case of problems with LB services. It guides the administrator to check important items and points and to provide LB support personel with appropriate symptomps description and relavant data collection from the problematic service instance.
