Seminar for users of EGEE Grid
| Invitation |
We are pleased to invite you to EGEE (Enabling Grids in E-SciencE) project course organized by CESNET institute. This seminar freely follows two previous EGEE seminars. The primary aim of this seminar is to inform broad user community of high-performance/throughput computing with actual state concerning solving of the EGEE project and with planned follow-up project EGEE II, respectively. There will be demos of several tools (CHARON system, P-GRADE portal) already available to users for comfortable and routine work in the EGEE Grid environment. The participants of the seminar will be allowed to test these tools during practical hands-on exercises. Due to the hands-on exercises for all registered users temporary certificates (available only during the course) will be prepared. Nevertheless also during this seminar (as it was during the previous ones) the CESNET registration and certification authority will be available during the seminar. Therefore you will have the possibility to obtain long-term CA CESNET certificate. If you do not have your personal CA CESNET certificate so far, read the instruction for obtaining CA CESNET certificate and proceed according the instructions! In the case that you plan to become a METACentrum project member we strongly recommend you to use hardware tokens distributed by us to store your personal certificate on the token. The hardware tokens will be distributed during this seminar to those who interested in. WARNING: The number of places in the classroom is limited. Therefore, register as soon as possible! We reserve the right to select among the registered persons those who have already visited some of the previous EGEE courses. In the case, that the interest in the course will exceed the capacity of the classroom, we will be forced to refuse those interested or organize similar course later, respectively. |
